Everyone should know the benefits of trees, including that they release oxygen into the air, & absorb unpleasant odours as well as harmful gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide from the air and purify it, & protect us from dangerous ultra-violet rays, provide us with food and the pivotal role played by trees in preventing soil erosion, maintaining ecological balance and most especially in lessening the effects of global warming, the IGNOU’s Special Study Centre, the All India Woman’s Conference conducted tree plantation drives & on Monday, 26th August, 2019.

Tree plantation is not just something that should be done; instead, it is a necessity, the urgent need of the hour. Planting of trees is especially important to protect our environment against air pollution and global warming. To this end, IGNOU’s students and teachers have been involved in organizing tree plantation drive “ONE TREE ONE STUDENT”
Students and teachers was very happy to become the part of this plantation drive and they enjoy it very much. We are making some space of clean air for the future when these small plants will become big tree on earth, they will definetly play their part in nature. But, today we have to it right now. Every men and women should have to part of this cause.
